New Gun Laws? It's Not The Answer
Last year, the city hit 506 homicides, and this year, killings again are stacking up at a rate faster than one a day.

Do you remember the philosophy of the now mayor of Chicago Rahm Emanuel? He believes that you never let a tragedy go to waste. Translation? Take advantage of a bad situation and use it to further your own agenda.
With gun violence occuring it seems more and more, some people believe that the answer is to create new gun laws despite the laws we already have in place. Do you really believe that more gun laws are the answer, that somehow that will stop the violence? I don't think so.
Making it harder for rational and responsible citizens to own a gun only affects their ability to protect themselves. Do you really think criminals will follow new gun laws when they didn't follow ones already in place?

Do you really think Americans are better off than we were four years ago? America is weaker because of this president. I can't believe Americans do not see this. The truly "great generation" is rolling over in their graves right now :(
Here are some recent headlines from different sources just so I don't get accused of citing one biased news source:

Can anyone guess what they are thinking?
How about:
Obama: (asking himself jealously) How did he do it? How did he win two terms? I can't even get through the first one!
Bush: (with a big grin like usual) Miss me yet? Sure you do, you are not even close to being better off than four years ago!
Post and tell me what you think?
Please, no vulgar language! Be nice!

Obama Healthcare Wiavers
If the Healthcare legistation is so great for the country, why has Obama's administration given so many waivers?
Furthermore, take a close look at who received the waivers.
I think those that voted for Obama were duped yet again. I sure hope they learn from the mistake and end his presidency.
Obama: "I'll do whatever it takes to improve the economy."
Voters: "How about stepping aside before you further destroy America?"

Does Obama Deserve All The Credit?
Isn't is interesting, Obama taking credit for Bin Laden, Qaddafi and ending the Iraq war? Has everyone forgotten that Bush laid the groundwork for ending the Iraq war? The only reason they are pulling all troops out is because the Iraqi government would not give our troops immunity from Iraqi law, which is something our troops have had and continue to have in other places around the world.

Its funny, the left including Nancy Pelosi and others having painted the Tea Party Movement as a bunch of racists that want to bring down the country, yet they are praising the Wall Street Occupier Movement as patriotic. One only has to see some of the Wall Street Occupiers and hear their message to realize that they have no message. One protestor even said "we aren't looking for solutions just revolution". Some media are saying the movement is growing and represents most of America. Really?
Look at it this way, the left needed something that could neutralize the Tea Party's movement and they believe this is the answer. Many of the Wall Street Occupiers believe capitalism is the culprit to all the economic problems we are having. Not so, capitalism is the main reason why we became a world power and not a third-world country. They blame the banks for the housing fiasco, do they realize that Congress instructed the banks to ease up on their lending practices so more people could own houses? Never mind that some should have never gotten a house in the first place because they couldn't afford it yet. Don't you think some homeowners are to blame for that?
When do we stop blaming everyone else and start taking responsibility for our own actions. Owning a house is not a right nor a necessity. Most times it takes sacrifice, hard work and a long time. Most of our parents spent many years saving to buy a house, it was not given to them.

The Media and Bloggers Do It Again
Yet another nail in their coffin. Left-leaning bloggers and the media show why their legitimacy is waning when they jumped the gun without any evidence, and began blaming conservatives like Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, and Fox News for their openly disappointment and criticism of the government.
Yet again, they were wrong!
According to a friend, Jared Loughner was not interested in politics or the news, the friend's statement read "He did not watch TV, he disliked the news, and he did not listen to talk radio." Read story here.....
As we all know, Jared Loughner is the gunman responsible for the shooting in Arizona that took the lives of six innocent bystanders including a federal judge and a nine year old girl, and wounding 13 others. U.S. Representative (D) was also shot at point blank in the head but incredibly is expected to survive.

112th Congress
It's official - the 111th Congress with former (yay!) Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, had the worst approval rating since they began keeping track.
Now fellow Americans, let's keep the new Congress's feet to the fire and for once, make them work for us.

New CRS Report Shows Government Already Controls 60 percent of Health Care in the U.S.
U.S. Senator Tom Coburn, M.D. (R-OK) released the following statement today regarding a new report by the non-partisan Congressional Research Service (CRS) that shows that 60 percent of health care spending in the U.S. ($1.35 trillion out of $2.24 trillion) is controlled by state, local and federal government.
I watched the Health care Senate debate tonight as Senator Coburn took the floor. He was impressive and what he was saying made so much sense. One statement he made I think sums up what many Americans are thinking - "Why destroy the world's greatest health care just to fix what is wrong?" Why indeed.
Here is the Republican legislation introduced a few months ago. It is called the Patient's Choice Act. So Democrats in the House and Senate are lying when they say that Republicans have not introduced any health care ideas. Hmmmmmmmm.
One more thing, it was voted on. Strictly down partisan lines. The Republicans voted for it and the Democrats voted against it. Something smells fishy in Washington!
