Elite: Most powerful............perhaps in your own mind
Elite: The best.........not even close in any terms
You have threatened to leave the country if George W Bush was re-elected. Just as many threatened to leave if he was elected in 2000. Did you really think the American people really cared if you lived here or not? You didn't talk of issues, you only played on people's fears. I voted for who I wanted to vote for, not for who someone tried to convince me to vote for.
I looked online (the internet is a wonderful instrument of knowledge), I checked out the Senate votes on the important issues. It's all public records for anyone to see. If people had taken the time to look. Medicare, Social Security, Child Protection Laws, Tax Reform, Homeland Security, Defense Budget Spending,Pledge of Allegiance, Partial Birth Abortion, Energy Policy and Prescription Drugs. Some of these have been held up since late 2000, why? Because it gave the democrats ammunition so they could accuse Bush of doing nothing for these past few years. Wise up people. Payback for the supposed stolen election. I personally don't like people playing games with my life and my future!
Kerry and Edwards were absent for almost 90% of these votes, they were not even there to debate on the first 4 or 5 proposed and not there for the final draft and vote. That is from 2001 to the present. In my book that gives them no place to talk about the President's short comings, what have they done for us lately? Obviously nothing but mislead. Not the other way around.

So it was all about one issue (Iraq) and this election was about many issues.
So leave if you want, there are plenty of people who would love to get a shot at acting and singing that never get their break. There are alot of talented people in this country. So move over and let them have a shot at it. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
